At the 89 th annual Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation (SWF) Convention held in Prince Albert, the River Ridge branch of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation received a plaque in appreciation for donating over $50,000 to SWF Habitat Trust.

Call for nominations going out to the public

The town council of Outlook met for a regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday night, February 14.

Students from schools in four First Nation communities within the Yorkton Tribal Council (YTC) district participated in the second annual science fair held at Chief Gabriel Cote Education Complex on February 7.

Much excitement can be found at Preeceville School and the community because of the hatching of rainbow trout eggs and the hand-raising of the trout after they hatch.

The annual Week of Prayer for Christian Unity Service was held on February 11 at Trinity United Church in Preeceville. The service was sponsored by the Preeceville and District Ministerial Association.

As is their custom in February, students of the Kamsack Comprehensive Institute, in addition to writing exams, thinking about sweethearts and going on a weeklong break, maintain an eye towards raising money for Telemiracle.

A snowmobile safety training course held at the Preeceville School on February 10 had 12 participants.
