Plans to improve health centres in Saskatchewan are forming as a new donation to The Health Foundation will assist to fund a new Yorkton hospital.

Two members of the Canora squadron No. 566 of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets competed in Yorkton for the zone stage biathlon competition.

An exciting event sold out quickly and provided 55 women with entertainment and a piece of their own artwork. Paint the Town Red Paint Night was held at the Legion hall dugout on November 4, with all 55 spots for the event filled.

The newly-elected councillors of the Town of Canora made several appointments while meeting with the mayor for the first post-election town council meeting which was held on November 1.

Members of the newly-elected Kamsack town council took their oaths of office during their inaugural meeting in the council chambers on Monday, which began their four-year terms overseeing the affairs of the community.
