The new school year is off to a great start for staff and students of Invermay School. We all arrived back to school on September 1, and were greeted with a nutritious breakfast to start the day.

Teams of three youngsters each took turns getting to a wild pony in order to allow one onto its back, while another holds a tether restraining the animal in the wild pony rides that were an extra feature at the Kamsack indoor rodeo.

The Town of Kamsack was awarded “four Blooms” in the 2016 Saskatchewan Communities in Bloom competition. Entered in the category for communities with a population from 1,001 to 2,000, Kamsack, along with Shaunavon received four Blooms.
