Producers had to fight against rain over September 22 and 23 to continue making progress with harvesting.

The Canora branch of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) had another successful fundraiser for the recently completed Run for the Cure. “This year we made a little over $2,000,” said Elly Carlson, CIBC spokesperson.

The City has settled with 63 workers who are members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). The deal will see employees, mainly those within the public works, parks and water departments, receive an average 1.
