The Kamsack air cadet squadron, which will celebrate its 60 th anniversary in January, is eagerly seeking persons to fill the roles of officers, instructors and other volunteers.

People who enjoy singing, whether they are trained or whether they can read music, are welcome to join the Kamsack Community Choir.

Peter Popoff, a resident of the Kamsack Nursing Home, marked his 104 th birthday on September 8, and on the previous afternoon family members assembled to celebrate the occasion.

Jasmine Knihniski of Preeceville never dreamed that her vision for helping others would lead her to Tanzania, Africa. Her journey began when she left Preeceville on July 31 and headed to the Saskatoon airport where she was to fly to Toronto.

Preeceville Harvard 606 Air Cadets Squadron held its annual registration and information evening at the Preeceville Legion Hall on September 7. "This year we have 30 cadets registered," said Capt. Troy Rogowski.
