Multicultural Week has been declared in Yorkton for the week of Nov. 14-22.

The City of Yorkton will put forward a resolution at the upcoming Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association (SUMA) Convention. The decision to but forward the resolution was a unanimous one for Yorkton Council at its regular meeting Monday.

Thanks to all who helped in any way to make our church noon luncheon a successful event. Thanks to those who braved the weather. Next noon luncheon will be Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 11:30 – 1:00 p.m. Hope to see you all out for dinner.

The Remembrance Day service in Rama began at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church with a special mass to pray for those who served Canada, fighting for freedom. In his homily, Rev. Marcin Mironiuk stated how each war begins because of "sin.
