After their annual Halloween parade at the school on October 30, the Norquay Kindergarten students were taken on a bus trip to the community’s nursing home where they entertained residents by reading poems.

Preparation work for a new season at the Preeceville Curling rink has been hectic but the season was scheduled to start on November 12. The icemaker for this season is Sheldon Luciw, with Dale Schur assisting him.

The Preeceville Panthers senior girls volleyball team, under the direction of coaches Katelynn Prokop and Sarah DeRuiter, concluded its season by hosting conference playoffs on November 7.

The Preeceville Atom Pats hockey team kicked off the season with a huge win against Canora on November 8. In Canora on Sunday, the many practices paid off as the Pats took an early lead and never looked back for a 10-1 win.
