On July 11, 2021, Saskatchewan will enter Phase 3 of the re-open Saskatchewan plan and all remaining Public Health Orders will be removed, including mandatory masking indoors. This does not mean that the COVID-19 pandemic is over.

As Saskatchewan approaches the end to public health measures this weekend, the province will no longer be providing biweekly COVID-19 updates from officials moving forward.

Vaccines Reported An additional 13,719 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 1,247,253. Over half a million Saskatchewan residents are now fully vaccinated.

Today, the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA) is introducing a new website, saskpublicsafety.ca, which will increase the ability of Saskatchewan residents to receive timely emergency information on multiple devices.

On July 6, 2021, at approximately 2:15 p.m., Punnichy RCMP responded to a report of a man armed with a rifle and making threats at Gordon First Nation. In the course of events, the responding police officers discharged a firearm and injured the man.

Canora RCMP and assisting units are currently on scene at a rural area south of Sandy Beach, SK, (in the RM of Good Lake) along Tiny Grid Road, approximately halfway between Highway 229 and Sandy Beach Road.
