The lights weren’t the brightest thing on the field Friday night during the fifth annual Friday Night Lights game.

The YRHS Jr. Raiders picked up one of their most impressive victories of the 2015 season in their final game of the regular season, defeating the previously 6-1 Regina Stampeders 30-22 at Regina’s Leibel Field.

It started in warmups. The Regina Alouettes lined up shoulder to shoulder and mockingly clapped the Yorkton Peewee Gridders as they took to the field.

The York Lake Golf and Country Club has been alive for ninety years, but the past five have been the most difficult that the course has ever faced.
