The Yorkton Harvest hit the road this past weekend for a pair of games against the SMAAAHL bottom dwelling Swift Current Legionnaires on Saturday and Sunday and returned with two big victories, 3-1 and 5-2.

The Yorkton Bantam UCT Terriers continued to beat up on their SBAAHL opponents this past weekend. This weekend's victims: The Swift Current Kabos Raiders and the Notre Dame Hounds.

It was sort of a Jekyll and Hyde weekend for the Yorkton Terriers who split a pair of road games.

It took just one shot for Sacred Heart Lady Saints star Corin Heim to send the rival YRHS Lady Raiders tumbling like an avalanche down the Swiss Alps. With the game tied at 33 and just 36.

Midget baseball is back in Yorkton after a two year hiatus in which Yorkton based midget baseball players had to either play in Melville or in the adult dominated SESBL (South East Senior Baseball League).

The Yorkton Kinsmen Terriers battled back late in the third period but simply ran out of time as they fell 5-4 to the visiting Melville Millonaires in SSMHL Midget league action at the Farrell Agencies Arena on Thursday, January 16.
