SHSAA schools host York City badminton classic
The York City badminton tournament was held recently. It was co-hosted by the Yorkton Regional High School (YRHS) and Sacred Heart High School (SHHS). The coaches for SHHS are Jim Grela and Jeanne Fetsch and Shawn Redmond for the YRHS.

There were eight championship banners won this past season celebrating the accomplishments of the Yorkton Minor Hockey Association. Three of those banners were to commemorate championships won under the Saskatchewan Hockey Association (SHA).

The senior badminton team from Sacred Heart High School went to Canora on April 17. In girls' doubles, Katie Inglis and Allison Kruger finished first in their pool. They went on to earn a bronze against the host Canora.
