Track and field is moving up the latter as one of the strongest sports in the school at Yorkton's Sacred Heart. Last time out at provincials, SHHS sent 14 young, well-conditioned athletes to compete at the highest level in Saskatchewan.

Parkland racing

This year's race dates have been released by the Parkland Racing Association. The first race will be this Saturday at the Yellowhead International Speedway at 2 p.m. Admission to the park is 13 and over-$8, 6-12-$4, and those under 5 are free.

GHCC hours

The Gloria Hayden Community Centre's spring and summer hours of operation (May 17-Sept. 6) are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-12 noon, and 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Closed on weekends and statutory holidays.
