The Sacred Heart senior girls basketball team headed to Langenberg to take part in a five-team tournament on the first weekend of March. Sacred Heart played Rocanville on Friday night and won 38-32.

Two hundred competitive swimmers from across the province recently converged on the Gallagher Centre swimming pool. The Yorkton Storm Speed Swim Club (YSSC) hosted the Provincial "A" Short Course Swim Meet.

The Yorkton ladies bonspiel was held two weekends ago at the local club with four teams advancing to the finals. Winners of the 'D' side finals, from left Frances Simonson, Julie Norman, Marcey Norman, Myrna Metzler. The team won five games.
