The oil industry and rural Saskatchewan can get along. Really, they have no choice. Next to agriculture, oil is now the biggest player in the rural economy.

There are a lot of schemers out there waiting to take full advantage of people in times of crisis or when things in society are at their most vulnerable. It’s a cold fact to face, but it’s also a brutal truth.

Dear Editor: Today is not a good day for Canada. It is not a good day for the federation. It is a very bad day for the west.

Dear Editor, With the celebrations for Canada’s 150th anniversary coming to a close, I find this observation most appropriate to share with everyone regarding worship at this time. A time to reflect and give thanks to God for all our Blessings.
