T he Saskatchewan Party leadership candidates have been coming through Yorkton, with only Tina Beaudry-Mellor being a stranger to these pages – though one assumes she will correct this oversight.

Calling all genealogists; beginners or seasoned researchers! The Yorkton branch of the SGS (Saskatchewan Genealogical Society) meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Yorkton Public Library.

I’m often introduced as an environmentalist. I prefer to be called a father, grandfather, scientist or author, as these terms provide insight into my motivation.
