You have probably heard of the drunk who stumbles upon a baptism by a river. The minister turns to him and says, "Mister, are you ready to find Jesus?" "Yes sir," he says. The minister dunks him under the water and pulls him right back up.

Moving forward the agriculture sector will continue to face one major issue, and that is finding quality employees. Overall, the sector, especially at the primary production level, is becoming less important in terms of overall national economy.

Well, 2016 is finally behind us. I’m relieved to have an excuse to wipe my hands of all that garbage.

Another New Year’s celebration has come and gone. Champagne corks have been popped, horns have been blown, and hugs, kisses and good wishes exchanged.

It seemed that with the ceasefire in Syria, coupled with the reconciliation efforts of the United States and Japan, the world was moving towards international stability and peace.

Dear Editor: The January 4 editorial suggests that rolling back government wages, as recently suggested by Premier Brad Wall, would somehow be detrimental to the economy. I completely disagree.

There should be little surprise Saskatchewan will now operate as essentially one large health region (the north still having some autonomy based on its unique issues).

The hope for sunny ways is fast fading to cold and cloudy days, and we’re not talking about the weather. A year into his career as prime minister, Justin Trudeau is quickly assuming the mantle of disappointment.
