Preeceville Pixies all-girl ball team gaining in popularity

Sport of softball offers huge opportunities for girls.

The Preeceville Pixies U15 all-girls softball team have had a great season so far and continue to gain popularity as girls softball becomes more popular. PREECEVILLE - The Preeceville Pixies all-girl U15 softball team has recorded two losses and one win to date but have gained valuable knowledge while enjoying  playing the game. Their season is scheduled to conclude on June 25 with still a few games scheduled prior to the end of the season.

Addison Danielson and Camryn Nelson from the team attended a one-day softball camp in Yorkton sponsored by the University of Regina Cougars on May 29.

“We both got a lot out of the camp with learning pitching, batting and chase the player skills. There were approximately 30 players registered for the camp rom across the province,” the girls stated.
