Harvest has begun in some parts of the province, according to Saskatchewan Agriculture’s weekly crop report for the period ending August 3.. Less than one per cent of the provincial crop has been combined, while one per cent is ready to straight-cut.

Fourteen shooters participate in second registered shoot by Preeceville Trap Shooting Club

The Preeceville Trap Shooting Club hosted its second registered shoot of the season on July 31 to August 2. There were a total of 14 shooters registered on Saturday and 13 registered for the shoot on Sunday.

Preeceville Arena receives new matting

The Preeceville Skating Arena received a Community Demonstration Grant through the Saskatchewan Scrap Tire Corporation (SSTC). The grant allowed the arena committee to replace the old rubber floor matting.
