Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship (SYA) scholarship winners enter the skilled trades with an incentive of $1,000 in addition to the benefits available to all SYA graduates.

The Sturgis READ Club and community members joined in support of the STARS air ambulance with a barbecue luncheon at the club on September 4. “The support was overwhelming with $1,756 raised for STARS,” said Betty Lou Skogen.
