On Jan. 23, at 4:35am an ATV was stolen from a residence in the Village of B-Say-Tah on Highway 210. The owner was woken up by a loud truck. The truck sped away towing the ATV. The owner called police and went out looking for his ATV.

With the Pinty’s Grand Slam of Curling being the big event in the city last week, it gave me an opportunity to reflect on why I enjoy curling. While I’ve never actually been any good at curling, I have always liked the sport.

Kael DePape is a netminder with the Yorkton SECON Maulers hockey teams, so making a save is a good thing for his team. This year however, each save DePape makes is just a bit bigger since it helps raise money for the Boys and Girls Club of Yorkton.
