The cold didn’t bother anyone at the Parkland Mall on Nov. 2 as they gathered for a Frozen family fun day. Kids had a chance to participate in crafts and enjoy cupcakes at the event.

To limit vaping to protect youth

Veteran’s Week was officially marked Tuesday by the General Alexander Ross branch of the Royal Canadian Legion in Yorkton with the raising of the Remembrance Day Flag at the cairn near the cenotaph on Darlington Street.

Kids at the Yorkton Public Library had a chance to hear a story straight from the author. Local author Lorraine Johnson was at the library on Nov. 4 to read her book Baxter and the Blue Bunny to kids. She’s back at the library Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m.

Kim Hladun of Canora has been selected as one of the ten core riders with PWOS (Prairie Women on Snowmobiles) Mission 2020, her second such selection in the past two years.
