The Willowbrook Lions woke up early on August 10 to get the pork on their roaster and ready for people to eat.

A $300 million six year project to extend the life of the EB Campbell hydroelectric station started this week. The six generator units in the dam were commissioned in 1963 and 1964 and were designed for a lifespan of 50 years.

The vintage metal is out at Real Canadian Superstore on Aug. 10 until 3:00 p.m., as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yorkton and Area hosts their annual Show N Shine.
