The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce is pleased that one of its members has been selected as a finalist for a Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce ABEX Award. SveinCo Developments is a finalist in the Growth & Expansion category.

Last night at approximately 8:00 p.m., Yorkton RCMP, Fire and EMS were called to a collision on Highway 16 near Springside, SK, that involved a semi-truck and an SUV.

The Yorkton Chamber of Commerce has announced that four well known individuals will be granted Honourary Life Membership in the Chamber at the next Chamber Business Lunch Thursday, Sept. 12 at St. Mary’s Ukrainian Cultural Centre.

It was an opportunity to learn a bit more about the responsibilities of pet ownership at a ‘Stuffed Pet Adoption Day’ at the Yorkton Public Library Thursday.

On Thursday August 22nd at 9:10pm, the Battlefords Municipal GIS Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a residence on the 1600 block of 101st Street in North Battleford.

At just [before 9 p.m., Yorkton RCMP advised that highway #16, 8 km West of Springside, Sask was closed. Motorist are encouraged to utilize an alternate highway around this location. Highways #10 and #47 at Yorkton may be the best routes.
