The City of Yorkton will be shorted just over $25,000 in owed money as result of the closure of Yorkton ReStore in July 2017.

Dear Editor: I am writing in regards to my concerns about the maintenance of small country graveyards that need the attention and care of our municipal governments.

Dear Editor: For over 100 years, the Port of Churchill on Hudson Bay was the gateway to northern Manitoba and communities in Nunavut Territory.

When it comes to farming, it remains an integral element of both the Saskatchewan economy, and of our own city economy.

It was a pair of overtime losses but the Yorkton AAA Midget Maulers did add two points as they try to climb the Saskatchewan AAA Midget Hockey League standings.

Strong play and close games defined the Yorkton Lady Raiders senior girls basketball tournament. Coach Jessica Kyle said that the tournament was a good one, and the final game ended with the O’Neill Regina team besting the team from North Battleford.
