The Yorkton Terriers and Melville Millionaires met in their traditional home-and-home set for New Year’s with each team winning in their building.

This week we conclude our look back at the biggest local stories from throughout 2017 in Yorkton This Week. 5 – DRACUP What had begun to seem like the ‘never-ending project’ finally saw completion in 2017.

Rose Simmons (nee Mosiondz) of Yorkton, beloved wife of Doug Simmons, passed away peacefully at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre on December 19, 2017 at the age of 72 years.

Larry Walter Kowalyk. February 23, 1951 - December 18, 2017. Larry was born and raised in Rose Valley, SK. After leaving school, Larry moved to Yorkton, where he met his wife of 44 years; Lovell Hnatiuk of Calder, SK.
