The Yorkton Public Library is open at 9 a.m. Monday-Friday. --- This year Animal Rescue Team Yorkton Inc. has joined together with SIGN in Yorkton. We are doing a Toy Drive for both children and pets to help families in our community.

The Yorkton branch of the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation held its annual horn measuring night last week. The night saw a number of horns from elk, moose and whitetail deer measured for the group’s annual awards.

Mrs. Christine Ooi of Yorkton, beloved wife of Richard Ooi, passed away on November 30, 2017 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. She was 69 years of age. Christine Mayyou Ooi (nee Seetho) was born in Butterworth, Malaysia on September 12, 1948.
