Last weekend acted as a big learning curve for the Yorkton Terriers. The hockey club faced the Estevan Bruins in a two-game series. The first game was in Estevan on Friday night, and the Bruins dominated the play, causing the Terriers to lose 8-1.

BECKER - Lorne Becker was born on March 6, 1941 in Makaroff, MB. He was the fifth child born to George and Molly Becker following Verna, Beatrice, Roland and Georgianna and followed after by his younger siblings, Beverly and Dennis.

DUSSOME - Byron Marshall Dussome was born on September 16, 1970 in Yorkton, SK, the son of Florence (nee Houle) and the late James Dussome. Byron received his education at various schools around the Yorkton area.

LARSON - On Sunday, September 24, 2017, Deborrah Elizabeth Larson (nee Stovin) of Yorkton, SK passed away while in care at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre.

LESINSZKI - Alma Lesinszki (nee Leipert) passed away September 19, 2017 after a short battle with cancer. Alma was born October 26, 1924 in Stornoway, SK. She was the 11th of 13 children born to Gustav and Emma (nee Zepic) Leipert.
