With sadness, the family of Carolyn (Carol) Eileen Porter announce her sudden passing on Friday, June 30, 2017. She was 58 years of age.

Mrs. Leah Blommaert of Yorkton, SK, widow of the late Wilfred Blommaert, passed away peacefully at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre on June 24, 2017. Leah was born in Rhein, SK on April 23, 1921, the daughter of Fred Beitz, Sr.

Nick Kucher, husband of Eugenia of Yorkton, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. He was 78 years of age. Nick passed away after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Evangeline Vallaster. April 26, 1944 - July 3, 2017. It is with heavy hearts we said goodbye to Vange. She passed away at Royal University Hospital at the age of 73.

Jean McKen was born June 18, 1929 at Yorkton, SK. She was the daughter of David and AnnaBelle (nee McLachlan) McVey. She was raised on the family farm north west of Yorkton and attended Reaman School and Orkney School.

Mr. John LaFontaine of Yorkton, beloved husband of the late Lucy LaFontaine, passed away on June 29, 2017 at his home. John Robert LaFontaine was born on April 12, 1922 at Crescent Lake, SK, the son of Louis and Sarah LaFontaine.
