Veronica Cecile Fedorowich. Our dear sweet mom passed away peacefully on Nov. 14, 2016, at the age of 89. Veronica Cecile was born to Sam and Irene Novak, near West Bend, SK, on November 5, 1927 and middle child in family of 10.

"Bettie" Elizabeth Marie (nee Kolodziejak) Alberts, beloved wife of the late Howard Alberts, passed away November 9, 2016. Bettie was born October 10, 1921 at Otthon, SK and grew up in the district.

Mr. Elie Malainey of Yorkton, SK and formerly of Edmonton, AB passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. He was 82 years of age.

Myrtle Florence Maddaford was born on October 19, 1933 in the Rokeby District of Saskatchewan and passed away on November 16, 2016 at the Canora Gateway Lodge, Canora, SK. She was 83 years of age.

Greg Gallagher passed away at his home at Crystal Lake on November 8, 2016. He was seventy-six years of age.

Myrtle Neufeld (nee Edwards), Aug. 24, 1938 - Nov. 15, 2016. Myrtle Neufeld (nee Edwards) went to be with her Lord on November 15 at the age of 78 years. Myrtle was born near Arborfield, SK.

The City of Yorkton is doing an overhaul of its traffic bylaw. Given that a large number of amendments needed to be made to bring the bylaw up to date, the decision has been made to write an entirely new bylaw to deal with traffic in the city.
