Four members of Yorkton Kees Tae Kwon Do will be off to Calgary from May 12-15 to take part in the 2016 Canadian Nationals.

Despite missing many of their usual supporters due to Canadian Nationals being just around the corner, the Prairie Wildfire Tae Kwon Do Challenge held at the Flexihall still managed to draw in 185 athletes – 30% more than last year’s event.

Minnie Senchuk passed into eternal rest on April 27, 2016 at her home. Minnie was born June 12, 1932 to Steve and Mary Zahayko on the family farm in the Fenwood District. She was the second of five children.

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Constance Muriel Dean (nee Landstad) of Yorkton, formerly of Rama, SK on Monday, April 18, 2016. With family by her side, sharing stories, she peacefully went to her eternal rest.

Isaac "Ike" Martin. August 19, 1934 - April 5, 2016. Isaac Martin was born on the family farm in the Ituna district, a son of Isaac and Sylvia (Halliday) Martin.

Jeanette Dorothy Sabulsky (Badduke) was born on February 2, 1935 in Watson. Mom was the fourth child of nine children to John and Vera Badduke.
