A former Yorkton provincial election candidate has been charged with fraud. Chad Blenkin, who ran in the 2011 provincial election on the NDP ticket, had a first court appearance May 2 in Yorkton Provincial Court on four charges.

Minnie Senchuk passed into eternal rest on April 27, 2016 at her home. Minnie was born June 12, 1932 to Steve and Mary Zahayko on the family farm in the Fenwood District. She was the second of five children.
