Yorkton This Week

With the 2015/16 SMAAAHL season over and done with, the Yorkton RawTec Maulers turned their attention to next season by hosting their 2016 spring camp at the Farrell Agencies Arena this past weekend.

The Yorkton RawTec Maulers officially wrapped up their 2015/16 SMAAAHL season as they held their year-end awards banquet on Saturday, April 23 at the Gallagher Centre.

Parents looking to get their children involved in the ‘gentleman’s game’ now have the opportunity to do so, as Yorkton’s Deer Park Golf Course is once again offering children and teenagers aged six to 17 the chance to take part in golf lessons.

A world-renowned tae kwon do master and up-and-coming movie star/producer spent time in the city this past Saturday, instructing an ‘Action Movie Workshop’ for the staff and students at Yorkton Kees Tae Kwon Do.

This weekend the Blitz 18U girls participated in the Saskatchewan Volleyball Association’s Division Two provincial championships. The girls played three round-robin matches Friday night and Saturday morning.
