Yorkton This Week

Ann was born on October 10, 1921 in Wroxton SK. She attended Chaucer School and had dreams to eventually become a nurse, however, this was not to be.

The family of Ethel Ellen White, known to her friends and family as "Lenny", sadly announce the passing of their mother on the morning of May 2, 2013 at the Yorkton & District Nursing Home, Yorkton, SK with family present.

Christina (Ina) Simpson McDougall was born June 24, 1921 at Yorkton; second daughter of John and Elizabeth Purves. Ina was raised on the family farm and received her education at Clyde School.

When we talk about the need to build public infrastructure in rural Saskatchewan, we are usually talking about roads, schools and hospitals.

Hope Kreklewetz of Yorkton entered eternal rest on May 1, 2013 at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina. She was 82 years of age.
