The Yorkton Storm Speed-swimming Club recently competed at the Saskatchewan "A" Provincial Championship and Junior Cup in Prince Albert.

Alice Moroz, of Yorkton and Sheho, SK passed away peacefully on March 23, 2013 in Regina Pasqua Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband of 68 years Peter, her parents Lena and Philip Robertson, her brothers Clarence and Cecil, and sister June.

Yorkton residents will be able to register their bicycles in the city without paying the $5 fee if they do so the week of May 13-19. Yorkton Council waved the registration fee for the week at the request of the RCMP.
