City supports YRHS robotics team

A high school robotics team will represent Canada at an international event in 2013, and Yorkton Council unanimously approved support for the students after a request Monday.

Museum numbers growing

Attendance numbers have risen over the past five years as RSM continues to inspire visitors. The numbers are in and the Royal Saskatchewan Museum (RSM) saw a significant increase in visits last year.

Surgery wait times still declining

The Yorkton Cardinals were on an extended road trip this past week, playing four in Alberta and a pair in Swift Current. For the local team the results were mixed as they won two of the six Western Major Baseball League encounters.

EDITORIAL - Celebrate all that is Canada

Sunday is Canada's birthday. That should mean more than it does in this country. We only need to look south to our American neighbours to see how they celebrate the Fourth-of-July only three days later.
