Three Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association (SHSAA) high school provincial curling championships will be contested this coming weekend, March 2-4, 2012.

Agnes Diceman passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Canora Gateway Lodge on February 22, 2012. Agnes was born in Dauphin, MB on July 14, 1925, the fifth child of seven, born to Pinkey and William Robb.

Clarence Derow, beloved husband of Alice Derow of Canora, passed away peacefully with his family by side at the Canora Hospital on February 16, 2012 at the age of 81 years.
