It's been over a year since Rider licence plates first became available and they're still scoring big with fans.

Dear Editor: Another harness horse racing year in Yorkton has ended. A big thank you to the race fans, volunteers, sponsors and Exhibition Board who all helped to make the race meet such a success.

The City of Yorkton is proceeding with the installation of five additional manholes on the city's North Sanitary Trunk Main. Yorkton Council unanimously approved the work at its regular meeting Monday, after having tabled the matter at its Sept.

The Calder Seniors have a few things planned for the month of September. The Calder Seniors held their whist drive on Aug. 13, 2011.

It's tough to pinpoint exactly when the NDP and rural Saskatchewan parted ways. Some suggest it was a gradual process that had much to do with economic transformation.

Paul Toth made one of the best catches, by far, that have been seen this season at Kinsmen Century Field. It came with about seven minutes left in regulation time in a two-score ball game. It was probably the best catch in all of last season, too.
