There will be no further cutbacks in the Sunrise Health Region's 2011/2012 operating budget.

The Boston Pizza Yorkton Regional High School Female Student of the Month for May is Emily Kohlert. Emily is a grade 12 student who has been involved in band, jazz band, choir, vocal jazz, the school musicals, guitar club, and marching band.

The Calder Playschool has ended for another year. On Wed., May 4, 2011, the playschool students enjoyed the day with pizza, doing crafts and receiving their grad hats and diplomas.
