The Yorkton Terriers have taken the first two games in their best-of-seven Sherwood Conference with Estevan.

Sunrise Regional Health Authority commissioned a master capital plan for the health region and received the plan in October 2010. The top three priority infrastructure needs identified in the plan are in Yorkton, Canora, and Esterhazy.

The Yorkton Terriers were well-represented when the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League announced its 2010-'11 awards. Leading the way were team Captain Blaine Tendler and head coach Trent Cassan.
