Yorkton This Week

As we near a month from the heavy rains of July 1, which flooded many homes and businesses in the city, many people are still dealing with the aftermath.

A pair of Bushnell 7 X 15 X 35 binoculars hangs over a chair-back near our front window - the better to spy on the new neighbours. They don't seem to mind the paparazzi, and appear oblivious to our inspection.

It was quite the shooting experience for about 80 archers over the weekend. The Willowbrook Archery Club was the site of a 3D shoot all day both days and featured some of the most realistic targets, meant to stimulate a real hunting experience.
