The Yorkton Cardinals are about to miss the playoffs for only the second time following road losses in Weyburn and Regina. The Cards were scheduled to close out their season last night at home to the Regina Red Sox.

The Parkland Racing Association will be holding their third race day of the season Aug. 14-15 at the Yellowhead International Speedway. Races will be held on both days and racing starts at 2 p.m.
