Rush to open the season Saturday, Dec. 4 in Halifax

The Saskatchewan Rattlers have announced the return of Kai Williams. Williams, a Regina native, will return to the Rattlers roster and appear in his second season as part of the Rattlers.

As part of the record province-wide capital investment of over $18.1 million, the Government of Saskatchewan has ear-marked more than $7.7 million for facility and infrastructure improvements in central and northern provincial parks in 2021-22.

Yorkton’s Ella Kozak sits third after the opening round at the Saskatchewan Junior (U-19) Women’s Championship in Moose Jaw. Kozak shot a 76, to trail leader Brooklin Fry of Shell Lake.

A local resident recently donated book bags to the Shaunavon Branch Library to help raise money for their kids programming.

The Yorkton Crush Softball Club is thrilled to accept a $20 000 donation from the Yorkton Kinsmen Club. Kinsmen member Lawrence Klemetski recently went to the park to present the cheque.

Jason Mitten was located and arrested at approximately 1:40 p.m. today. He was located several kilometres east of Esterhazy, in a rural area. Mitten will appear in Broadview Provincial Court on July 14, 2021.
