Saskatoon Guns and Gangs raid: Two arrested and firearms seized

Saskatoon police discovered two sawed-off .22 caliber rifles and ammunition, leading to the arrest of two 27-year-old men who now face weapons-related charges.

SASKATOON - The Saskatoon Police Service Guns and Gangs Unit successfully executed a raid at a residence in the city on Wednesday, resulting in the arrest of two men and the seizure of weapons.

According to SPS, the Guns and Gangs Unit received information indicating that firearms were present at a residence located in the 400 block of Avenue H South. Acting on this information, the Guns and Gangs Unit, with the assistance of the SPS Tactical Support Unit and Patrol, ordered the occupants to leave the premises in order to execute a search warrant.

During the search, police discovered two sawed-off .22 caliber rifles and ammunition, leading to the arrest of two 27-year-old men who now face weapons-related charges.
