SASKATOON - The Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime Section has charged another man, age 32, in connection to the 2009 homicides of Spencer Whiteman and Morgan Doucette.
On Jan. 1, 2009, police responded to the 300 block of Avenue T South for a report that two men had been stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located a 24-year-old man and 22-year-old Spencer Whiteman suffering from life-threatening stab wounds. The first male survived but Spencer Whiteman died from his injuries.
On Nov. 16, 2009, police responded to a residence in the 400 block of Avenue H South for a report that a man had been stabbed. Upon arrival, officers located 33-year-old Morgan Doucette suffering from life-threatening stab wounds. He did not survive.
A third 32-year-old man has now been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated assault. He was 18-years-old at the time of the first homicide and 19-years-old at the time of the second homicide. The 32-year-old man will make his first court appearance May 4.
