Six people arrested after man assaulted, sustains life-threatening injuries

Six people, ranging in age from 24 to 41, were arrested from the home without incident.

Through their investigation, police learned that the assault took place at a home in the 100 block of Avenue F South at approximately 7:30 p.m., May 25.

SASKATOON – Members of the Serious Assault Unit continue to investigate an aggravated assault that took place last week.

At approximately 11 p.m., May 25, patrol officers responded to an assault in the 100 block of Avenue Q South. Upon arrival, officers located a 41-year-old man who was reportedly just assaulted and appeared to be disoriented. He was transported to hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries. He remains in hospital where he is receiving treatment.

Through their investigation, police learned that the assault took place at a home in the 100 block of Avenue F South at approximately 7:30 p.m., May 25. On May 26, patrol officers attended to the residence in the 100 block of Avenue F South to arrest multiple suspects. Six people, ranging in age rom 24 to 41, were arrested from the home without incident.

Investigators do not believe the assault was random in nature.
