Watrous RCMP locate missing man

WATROUS – Update: Justin Lounsbury has been located safe. 

Original story: Police are asking the public’s help locating 33-year-old Justin Lounsbury who was last seen in Manitou Beach around 3-4 p.m. on May 31

On June 1, 2023, Watrous RCMP received a report that he was missing. Watrous RCMP have been searching for him since the report was received, checking locations he’s known to visit and following up on information received. Investigators are now asking members of the public to report all sightings of Justin and information on his whereabouts.

Lounsbury is approximately five-foot-10 and 150 pounds. He has short brown hair and brown eyes. He has numerous tattoos. Justin was last seen wearing grey track pants, a black hoodie and black sneakers.

Police say their investigation has determined that Lounsbury may have travelled to, or through, the Olds, Alta., area, and he is also known to travel to the Cranbrook, British Columbia, and Didsbury, Alta., areas, however his current whereabouts are unknown.
