Estevan Police Service responded to 58 occurrences over the weekend, including multiple driving complaints, frauds, counterfeit currency, requests for well-being checks on individuals in the community, suspicious persons and vehicles, noise complaints and an assault.

Initial information stated a male was assaulting a female and was in possession of a machete.

The driver fled, evading police at a high rate of speed.

The complainant stated that an individual was brandishing a firearm inside the residence.

At this time, the cause of death and the fire are unknown and remain under investigation by the Moose Jaw Police Service and the Saskatchewan Coroner's Service.

The Weyburn Police Service, with the support of the Weyburn Police Service and Estevan Police Service Joint Tactical Service Team, conducted a search warrant on Sept. 19.

Police say no one was injured.

Historical Homicide: Jean LaChance was discovered deceased in a wooded area south of the Victoria Hospital.

RCMP in search of white 2013 Ford Explorer, license plate 876NEJ.

Investigators confirm an adult male was located deceased at a residence on Sept. 20.
