On Dec. 14 at approximately 10:20 p.m. police were called to a hotel in the area of 13 Street East and 1 Avenue East for a report of an assault.

As a result of this investigation, a 47-year-old man, of Regina is charged with: criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

Estevan Police Service members responded to 51 occurrences over the weekend.

City police were called to the local Wal-Mart on Sunday as two males entered the store, placed items into a bag and left the store without paying for the items.

Dwayne Maxie was located and arrested by the Regina Police Service on Dec. 12.

Investigators with the Serious Incident Response Team arrested the EPS member, who was charged and later released on conditions.

Sheena Billette, who was 28, was found dead on a frozen highway north of La Ronge on Dec. 23, 2019.

Richard Buck died in hospital from his injuries after an assault at a home in Meota.

On Dec. 11, the ICE unit executed a search warrant at a home in Saskatoon; electronic devices were examined on scene and seized by investigators.
