With the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP police service dog, officers located and seized approximately one kilogram of cocaine a vehicle.

On Feb. 10 he was sentenced at the Court of King's Bench in Battleford after being found guilty on all eight charges.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., March 20, police were called to the 200 block of 3rd Avenue North.  It had been reported that an assault had occurred. 

A 15-year-old boy, who can’t be named due to his age, was in Regina Provincial Court March 19, where he was remanded in custody to April 2.

The Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service is continuing to investigate.

At around 8:45 p.m. on March 19, police were called to the 1300 block of 8th Street East for a report of a pedestrian that had been hit by a vehicle in a parking lot.

The death is not believed to be suspicious and next of kin notifications have been completed; police will not be releasing the deceased’s name.

On April 26, 2023, during the course of SIRT's investigation, the involved individual, a 40-year-old man, passed away in hospital. 

The Board said BTS proposed a reduction in service levels in response to North Battleford city council’s request to BTS to cut costs for transit services.

The truck is described as an early 2000s model white Chevrolet or GMC with a ¾ ton long-box and a broken rear window.
