CAA backed up by high volume of calls

CAA Saskatchewan urging patience as they try to respond to those members who need help

The freezing cold is proving an issue for CAA Saskatchewan.

REGINA - CAA Saskatchewan is among the numerous organizations struggling to respond to demand for services to deal with the extreme cold weather conditions hitting Saskatchewan.

There are reports of CAA members struggling to get their phone calls through to the organization for roadside assistance. In response, CAA Saskatchewan has posted this message on social media:

“We are experiencing a higher call volume than normal.

We appreciate your patience during this time, and our members continue to trust in us as we do our best to help everyone in need. You can request roadside assistance either online or through the CAA mobile app.”

On CAA Saskatchewan’s web page, they posted this message:

“Due to the weather conditions, we are experiencing longer wait times than normal. Thank you for your patience as we try to help all our Members as quickly and safely as possible. Battery services has been suspended due to the extreme weather conditions; battery boosts are still available. Call 1.800.222.4357 if you require help.”
