REGINA —Regina man Billy Bejemino was thrilled to discover The Big Spin ticket he purchased won not only $10,000, but a date with The Big Spin prize wheel and ultimately $200,000 on March 19.

“I felt like I blacked out!” said Bejemino while claiming the initial $10,000 prize. “I was so shocked, I just kept saying $10,000 over and over in disbelief!”

Now, with his new $200,000 prize in hand, the winner is planning to purchase a new all-wheel drive vehicle and make some investments.

“I’ve been playing The Big Spin for two years and I’ve always wanted to win the opportunity to spin the wheel!”

Bejemino purchased his winning ticket at Rochdale Crossing C-Store located at 5805 Rochdale Blvd. in Regina.

The Big Spin is a $5 instant ticket with one major difference: players can win cash prizes the same way as with a regular scratch ticket but can also uncover a “Spin Win” which lets them discover their prize through an animated prize wheel at any Lotto Spot retailer. If the player’s Spin Win prize is a “Big Spin,” they win $10,000 plus a chance to spin a prize wheel that guarantees them at least another $100,000, and up to $500,000.

Tickets for The Big Spin are available at Lotto Spot retailers throughout the province.
